Last week, RIGA started its rollout of JOURNEY to the 130 strong Instant Windscreens workforce across Australia and New Zealand.
The months leading up to the rollout seen OHS compliance forms with specific logic required when types of equipment were utilised, or different types of glass replacements were requested.
JOURNEY integrates seamlessly with their current CRM and ERP systems through the variety of connectors available on the platform such as Microsoft Dynamics, RetailPro, SAP, Sage, Xero, MYOB just to name a few.

This is a ‘first-in-our-industry’ technology that improves our customer service offering and claims back approximately 2,000 man hours monthly in route scheduling for our branch management team”
All jobs allocated within the system, are pushed into the JOURNEY platform giving the branch team the ability to drop and drag, allocating the jobs to their installers.
Route Optimisation then kicks in to find the most fuel efficient direct routes based on traffic, road closures and any navigational data available at the time, taking the guess work away, the Installer simply follows the directions and prompts on their tablet, and the customer is notified via SMS with a tracking link to ensure they are available at the Estimated time of arrival.
Honiball also cited “the live tracking, compliance and in field time clocking allows us to accurately report on travel, time on site, and job statuses in real time offering to the minute reporting to our clients, we appreciated RIGA’s ‘nothing-is-too-hard’ approach throughout all our negotiations and after delivery support has been fantastic”
Phase 2 of the rollout sees Instant windscreens do away with paperwork all together, taking the same system to their in store jobs, by using Bluetooth and RFID tagging to bounce from one job to the next, or between multiple jobs, tracking individual times with ease.
